The Ferrari FF takes a bow at Geneva - in white
We’ve had plenty to say about the Ferrari FF, Ferrari’s controversially-styled replacement for the 612 Scaglietti. The jury seems to be out on its design, with as many dissenters of the new Ferrari direction as applauders. But you can count us impressed, even more so now the FF has hit the floor in Geneva.
This piece of organic looking, handcrafted aluminium is called the ‘Frankfurt Flyer’ – a bespoke creation by American engineer Chris Runge. It’s rather special too, as the original Flyer racecar is the forebear to one of the most famous Porsche models ever, the 550 Spyder. This is one man’s painstaking recreation of one of the finest post-war sports cars to ever see the light of day, and it could be yours for $60,000 – around £36,500.
2012 Lexus GS Spied at the Nurburgring
It’s not exactly a huge surprise that there’s a 2012 Lexus GS pounding around the Nurburgring in disguise, or that we managed to grab spy photos. Well, there is perhaps the question of ‘Why test a saloon car at the Nurburgring at all?’, but that’s another argument. But after the Lexus LF-Gh got teased ahead of, and then revealed at, the New York Motor Show in the Spring, it was clear Lexus were planning to revamp the GS.
